The Norwayne girls basketball team jumped out to a 16-5 1st quarter lead on Thursday night at Rittman and cruised to a 66-35 victory over the host Indians.  Caitlyn DeMassimo led all scorers with 20 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.  Olivia Stanley knocked down 3 3-point shots to finish the night with 17 points. 

The Norwayne girls basketball team hosted Smithville on Tuesday night to open up league play and came up short 37-36.  The Bobcats were able to lead most of the game until Smithville knocked down a corner 3-point shot with 4.5 seconds remaining.  Taylor DeMassimo led the way for the Bobcats with 14 points.  Caitlyn DeMassimo
