Girls Track Wins 5th Title in a Row; Boys Finish 3rd

Congratulations to the Norwayne girls track team for winning their 5th straight WCAL Championship over the weekend.  The Bobcats were able to distance themselves from the field finishing with 154.5 total points.  Chippewa was 2nd with 119.5 points while Smithville(104), Rittman(95), Waynedale(50.5), Dalton(48), Northwestern(35.5) and Hillsdale(34) followed.  Bringing home 1st place finishes for the Cats

Norwayne Tennis Falls to Chippewa 4-1

The Norwayne tennis team traveled to Chippewa on Wednesday night and fell to the host Chipps 4-1.  Anthony Tosatto picked up the lone win for the Cats in first singles in a third set tiebreaker, 6-0, 3-6, 6-4.  The tennis team will be back in action on Thursday night at Triway.

Bobcat Baseball Team Wins 6th Straight

The Norwayne baseball team ran its winning streak to 6 games on Wednesday night with a 6-2 home win over Rittman.  Devon Pittman went the distance on the mound for the Cats while striking out 8 Rittman batters.  JT Taylor led the Bobcat offense once again going 2-3 with a home run and 3 RBI’s.
