The Norwayne girls soccer team had an important WCAL game at Northwestern on Tuesday night and came away with a 2-1 victory. Brynn Mowrer picked up the first goal of the night just over 10 minutes into the contest on an assist from Shelby Vaughn. The Huskies would tie the game at 1-1 at the midway point of the second half. With just under 12 minutes left in the game, senior Macey Albaugh would score the go ahead and final goal to pull out the win for the Cats. The Bobcats would out shoot the Huskies 14-6. Goalkeeper Chloe DuPlaga picked up 4 saves on the night. Norwayne is now 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the WCAL. They will host Waynedale on Saturday with JV’s starting at 1:00.
