The Norwayne girls soccer team continued their hot start to the season with a 3-1 win over visiting Manchester on Wednesday night. Shelby Vaughn got the Cats on the board first with a goal just over 8 minutes into the game. Lacy Hess followed Vaughn with a goal of her own with 8 minutes left in the half. Hess would also pick up an assist. The Bobcats would add 1 more goal with under a minute to play in the half by Brynn Mowrer. The Cats would hold on to the 3-1 halftime lead to come away with the victory. Goalkeeper Chloe DuPlaga would pick up 10 saves on the night. Norwayne is now 2-0 on the early season with a goal advantage of 14-1 after 2 games. They will travel to Hillsdale on Saturday at 1:00.
