The Norwayne boys basketball team fought the weather and a scrappy Wellington team on Tuesday night at home and came away with a 59-54 win. Senior Quinn Hiles stayed hot with a game high 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Junior Ben Draper added 11 points of his own to go along with 3 assists. Jake Hanzie knocked down 2 triples to finish the night with 9 points and 2 rebounds. Ameer Cunningham and Joey Raudebaugh each added 7 points to help the Cats. Eli Steiner finished with 3 points and Jacob Rupp added 2 to round out the scoring for the hosts. Norwayne is now 14-2 on the season and 7-2 in the WCAL. They will host Chippewa on Friday night.
