The Norwayne boys basketball team won a double overtime thriller at Northwestern on Friday 81-79 to pull within one game of the league leading Huskies. Quinn Hiles picked up a double-double with a team high 21 points and 11 rebounds. Hiles also added 5 assists and 2 steals on the evening. Ben Draper hit a big 3 late in the second overtime to give the Cats the lead to add to his 15 points on the night. Draper also picked up 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Jake Hanzie added 3 triples to go with his 10 points and 5 boards. Ameer Cunningham was the fourth Bobcat in double figures with 10 points. Joey Raudebaugh added 8 points and 7 rebounds of his own. Eli Steiner(7 points), Jacob Rupp(6 points) and Noah Saal(4 points) rounded out the scoring for Norwayne. The Cats are now 13-2 on the season and 7-2 in the WCAL. They will host Wellington on Tuesday night.
