The Norwayne girls basketball team used a 17-2 3rd quarter advantage to overcome a 14-12 halftime deficit to beat the visiting Rittman Indians 41-29. Caitlyn DeMassimo was instrumental in the quarter with 10 of her game high 18 points while pulling down 9 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Olivia Stanley followed DeMassimo with 9 points of her own. Taylor DeMassimo had 4 points and tied her sister for most rebounds with 9. Kennedy Kay(4 points), Grace Deidrick(4 points) and Andrea Maibach(2 points) finished the scoring for the Cats. Norwayne is now 7-1 on the season and 3-1 in the WCAL and will travel to Hillsdale on Thursday night.
