Annabel Stanley and Jaylee Wingate Advance to Regionals

The Norwayne girls cross country team competed in the Lorain County Community College District Cross Country Meet on Saturday.  Annabel Stanley and Jaylee Wingate both qualified for the Regional Meet next week.  Stanley finished in 8th place overall with a time of 20:12.  Jaylee Wingate would finish 17th overall with a time of 21:29.  Both

Norwayne Boys Soccer Advances 2-0

The Norwayne boys soccer team traveled to Manchester on Saturday afternoon and came away with a 2-0 Sectional Final win.  Nic Graham continued his scoring streak with 2 goals for the Cats.  Picking up assists on the goals were Jordan Steiner and Clayton Andrew.  Ethan Graf picked up the clean sheet at goalkeeper for Norwayne. 

Norwayne Football Beats Canton C.C. 51-22

The Norwayne football team jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead after 1 quarter and never looked back on Saturday in their 51-22 win over Canton Central Catholic.  Nick Erhard would get the Cats on the board first with a 11 yard touchdown catch from Nate Bitskay.  Ameer Cunningham would add a 4-yard touchdown run

Norwayne Volleyball Falls to VASJ 3-0

Norwayne Football Takes Care of Mineral Ridge 55-14

The Norwayne football team began their 2020 playoff run with a big win over Mineral Ridge on Saturday night 55-14.  The Cats would pile up 500 yards of total offense to just 141 yards for the Rams.  Hayden Tanner would lead the ground attack with 5 rushes for 98 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Ameer Cunningham

Norwayne Girls Cross Country Finishes 4th at WCAL

The Norwayne girls cross country team ran in the WCAL Championship on Saturday morning at the Creston Park and finished 4th.  Annabel Stanley finished 2nd overall with a time of 19:24.  Jaylee Wingate would finish 4th overall with a time of 20:00.  With those finishes, Stanley and Wingate finished 1st Team All WCAL.  Also scoring

The Norwayne girls soccer team traveled to the #1 ranked Madison Rams and fell 4-2.  Maci Kimberlin got the Bobcats on the board just under 8 minutes into the second half on an assist from Lacy Hess.  Two minutes later, Brynn Mowrer would add another goal to cut the Madison lead to 3-2.  The Rams

The Norwayne volleyball team traveled to Smithville on Thursday night for their final regular season contest and fell to the Smithies 3-1(18-25, 13-25, 25-21, 14-25).  Savannah Berry led the way with 12 kills and 12 digs for the Bobcats.  Grace Deidrick finished with 11 kills and 16 digs.  Lauren Deiotte added 20 digs defensively for
