Following Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s announcement on Tuesday afternoon, ALL indoor sporting events in Ohio are limited to spectators to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. Norwayne Boys Basketball Wins District Title

The Norwayne boys basketball team took down Northwestern 61-59 on Friday night to win the District Championship and advance to the Sweet 16.  Ben Draper hit a 10 foot runner as time expired to give the Cats the huge win!  The Bobcats were led by senior Jake Hanzie and sophomore Isaiah Portis with 15 points

Norwayne Sends 3 Wrestlers to State

The Norwayne wrestling team will be well represented once again this year at the 2020 OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.  The Bobcats were able to secure 2 District Champions.  Austin Shepherd was a District Champion and 138 lbs with a 4-3 win over Manchester’s Jake White.  Kaden Kidd was also a District Champion at 195 lbs

Norwayne Boys Basketball Advances to District Final

The Norwayne boys basketball team faced a tough Smithville Smithie basketball team on Monday night in Wooster for a District Semi-Final contest.  The Bobcats were able to come away with a hard fought 42-38 win.  Junior Jacob Rupp led the way offensively for the Cats with 17 points.  Jacob also pulled down 9 rebounds.  Freshman

Norwayne Boys Basketball Advances to Districts

The Norwayne boys basketball team defeated Chippewa on Friday night 54-39 to win the Sectional Championship.  Jacob and Justin Rupp each scored 11 points to lead the way for the Bobcats.  Justin added 5 rebounds while Jacob posted 6 blocked shots.  Jake Hanzie added 9 points and 4 rebounds for Norwayne.  Joey Raudebaugh added 9
